The Allgäu wakes up
Spring is when Oberstaufen takes a breath. The meadows around the village are in bloom, the air is clear and cool, and the hiking trails are still largely yours alone.
For us it is the season with the finest light: mist in the valley in the morning, sun on the terrace at midday, a favourite plate in the Allgäu parlour in the evening.
Out and about
Hiking while everything is in bloom
Hiking and cycling paths start right at the house. At lower altitudes the trails are walkable early in the year, and the mountain railways take you comfortably up to the ridge paths of the Nagelfluhkette.
As a partner of Oberstaufen PLUS, mountain railways, e-bikes, bus and regional train are free for you – one benefit day per night.

In spring the air is clear but still cool. That is when our indoor pool feels best: around 10 metres long, 28 °C warm and open daily from 7:00 am.
The sunny lounge terrace lies right in front of it, with quiet rooms, sauna and our wellness area with massage next door.

At lower altitudes the trails are walkable early in the year. The ridge paths are easy to reach by mountain railway, which is free for you as we are an Oberstaufen PLUS partner.
