Season at the Bavaria
Autumn
The finest season for hiking: clear air, warm colours and trails where you find quiet again.
September to December
Golden days in the Allgäu
Once the summer bustle is over, the Allgäu shows its calm side. The views become clearer, the forests change colour, and you barely meet anyone on the ridge trails.
Evenings grow dark earlier – a good reason to take your time with cheese spaetzle and a seat by the fireplace.

Out and about
Hiking with far views
Autumn brings the clearest days of the year. From the ridge trails of the Nagelfluhkette the view stretches far across the Allgäu and into the Swiss mountains.
Hiking and cycling paths start right at the house, and as an Oberstaufen PLUS partner the mountain railways are free for you – one benefit day per night.
